Personal Learning Network
Personal learning networks are rich resources for learning. The diversity of PLN provides teachers with endless opportunities for educational resources, methods, and strategies. I have categorized personal learning networks into three categories based on my personal experience. The first category is for networks that I did not think would be a learning platform, such as Instagram. The other category is the one I have already taken advantage of in my lessons, like Pinterest. The third category is the one I am motivated and curious to use, which is the Twitter platform.
I have created an account on Twitter. I had followed the guidance steps in the edutopia article. I introduced myself in my profile. I also used an image while preserving its rights. I added three accounts, Dr. @elangran, @edutopia, and FCPS. In @edutopia, I found a great learning resource that suggested books to teach students about diversity. I also added a tweet about the importance of making use of such books to raise a strong generation that is proud of its diversity. Last semester, I used the picture book “The Day You Begin” as a resource to explain the diversity and acceptance of others. In course ED-
Now, I changed my ideas of what I thought was not an educational network (Instagram). My personal learning networks have expanded. I believe over time, I will get information and resources that I did not expect to get. In addition, I believe that such networks and the provision of communication and response services are great features to achieve collaborative learning between a teacher and other teachers or educational institutions.

Hi Suda. I also chose Twitter for the PLN Challenge. I also started following edutopia and FCPS and have really enjoyed their posts. I also follow @TheFCRR for reading instruction guidance and some of the technology we have been using in class, like jamboard and flipgrid.
